Day 1: Antananarivo
Arrival in Madagascar and transfer to your hotel.
Day 2: Antananarivo – Antsirabe
Journey through the Central Highlands to Antsirabe.
Day 3: Antsirabe – Ambositra – Antoetra
Discover Malagasy craftsmanship before continuing towards Zafimaniry country.
Day 4: Antoetra – Zafimaniry Country
Trekking and cultural discovery in the Zafimaniry region.
Day 5: Antoetra – Ranomafana
Travel towards the rainforest landscapes of Ranomafana.
Day 6: Ranomafana National Park
Full day exploring the rainforest and searching for lemurs and other endemic wildlife.
Day 7: Ranomafana – Andringitra
Journey south towards the spectacular Andringitra mountain range.
Day 8: Andringitra National Park
Full day of hiking and exploration in one of Madagascar’s most impressive mountain landscapes.
Day 9: Andringitra – Ambalavao
Continue towards Ambalavao with wildlife and cultural discoveries along the way, including Anja Community Reserve.
Day 10: Ambalavao – Ranohira
Travel south through changing landscapes towards Ranohira, gateway to Isalo National Park.
Day 11: Isalo National Park
Full-day trek through canyons, sandstone formations, waterfalls and natural swimming pools, followed by sunset at the Isalo Window.
Day 12: Ranohira – Fianarantsoa
Return north towards Fianarantsoa, with cultural and scenic stops along the way.
Day 13: Fianarantsoa – Antananarivo
Journey back through the Central Highlands to Antananarivo.
Day 14: Antananarivo – Departure
Transfer to the airport according to your international flight schedule.
DAY-BY-DAY ITINERARY
DAY 1
Antananarivo
Arrival at the airport of Antananarivo.
Transfer to the hotel.
DAY 2
Antananarivo – Antsirabe
The departure will be just after the breakfast. We start our journey through the mythical RN7 traversing the landscapes of terraced rivers and traditional houses of the highlands. A stop at Ambatolampy to discover the famous aluminum pot making workshop.
We will be in Antsirabe for lunch. After lunch, we will do a city tour by rickshaw to discover the spa town, but also for visiting some places of handcraft exhibition and selling like embroidery, etc.

DAY 3
Antsirabe – Ambositra – Antoetra
Breakfast and departure for Antoetra. Stop for lunch and visit to the handcraft shops of Ambositra, the capital city of handmade crafts in Madagascar to discover the Zafimaniry wooden sculptures which is internationnaly recognized by the UNESCO.
The second step will be for the afternoon : way to Antoetra, the cradle of Zafimaniry tribes.

DAY 4
Antoetra
Breakfast. Trekking through the Zafimaniry territory, across hills and mountains to join a typical zafimaniry village with its unique architecture. Picnic near the village. Back to the hotel.

DAY 5
Antoetra - Ranomafana
Way to Ranomafana, a great rain forest where we can find differnet species of Lemurs and birds living in their natural area. Visit of the park the afternoon.

DAY 6
Ranomafana - Andringitra
After the breakfast, we take an hour of relax inside the thermal swimming pool of Ranomafana then our journey will continue farther deep in the southern part of the island. Arrival at Andringitra in the evening.

DAY 7
Andringitra
Visit of the Andringitra National Park. The trek Diavolana or full moon will take you through wild meadows of flowers, and orchids to a lunar landscape made of narrow valleys, dizzily-high cliffs, streams and waterfalls.

DAY 8
Andringitra - Ranohira
Road to Ranohira. We will stop in Ambalavao for a visit of the nature reserve of Anja to admire lemur catta.
We will have lunch then continue to Ranohira. From Ambalavao, the landscape changes and we will start seeing some traditional tombs belonging to the Bara Ethnicity, a semi-nomad and cow breeding tribe. And then we will arrive to the Far-West, in Ranohira, with its big rocks and canyons having different shapes.

DAY 9
Ranohira
Trekking inside the Isalo National Park. A paradise for all visitors of the Malagasy Far West region. Bath in some natural swimming pool and discovery of the canyons.

DAY 10
Ranohira – Fianarantsoa
We hit back the road to join Fianarantsoa. A stop at Ambalavao to pay a visit to the local Antemoro paper and silk workshop. Road to Fianarantsoa. City tour of Fianarantsoa.

DAY 11
Fianarantsoa - Antananarivo
Way back to the capital.
Arrival in the evening.

Antananarivo – Departure
The last day will be dedicated to shopping at a special open market in Antananarivo.
Then, transfer to the airport according to the flight schedules.
