TOUR PROGRAM
DAY 1
Antananarivo
Arrival at the airport of Antananarivo.
Transfer to the hotel.
DAY 2
Antananarivo – Antsirabe /170 km
The departure will be just after the breakfast. We start our journey through the mythical RN7 traversing the landscapes of terraced rivers and traditional houses of the highlands. A stop at Ambatolampy to discover the famous aluminum pot making workshop.
We will be in Antsirabe for lunch. After lunch, we will do a city tour by rickshaw to discover the spa town, but also for visiting some places of handcraft exhibition and selling like embroidery, etc.

DAY 3
Antsirabe – Ambositra – Ranomafana/280 km
Breakfast and departure for Ranomafana. Stop for lunch and visit to the handcraft shops of Ambositra, the capital city of handmade crafts in Madagascar to discover the Zafimaniry wooden sculptures which is internationnaly recognized by the UNESCO.
The second step will be for the afternoon : way to Ranomafana, a great rain forest where we can find differnet species of Lemurs and birds living in their natural area.

DAY 4
Ranomafana
Breakfast.
The whole day will be dedicated to the trekking inside the Ranomafana National Park and visitors will be guided by the local guides for discovering the several species of Lemures, the different medical plants and its rich vegetation.

DAY 5
Ranomafana – Ambalavao – Ranohira/323 km
Departure from Ranomafana after the breakfast. We will continue our discovery in the southern part of the island. We will stop in Ambalavao for a visit of a wine making workshop and visit the nature reserve of Anja to admire lemur catta.
We will have lunch in Ambalavao and then we will pay a visit to the local Antemoro paper and silk workshop then continue to Ranohira. From Ambalavao, the landscape changes and we will start seeing some traditional tombs belonging to the Bara Ethnicity, a semi-nomad and cow breeding tribe. And then we will arrive to the Far-West, in Ranohira, with its big rocks and canyons having different shapes.

DAY 6
Ranohira
Trekking inside the Isalo National Park. A paradise for all visitors of the Malagasy Far West region. Bath in some natural swimming pool and discovery of the canyons.

DAY 7
Ranohira – Tulear –Ifaty/274 km
We will still continue our way to the south. This time, we will see other kinds of tombs belonging to to the tribute of Mahafaly with itheir famous « Aloalo », all along our way. Visitors will have the opportunity to enjoy the beautiful beach of Ifaty which is an exceptional place for fishing and seascape discovery.

DAY 8 - 9
Ifaty
Two days of leisure in the beach. Possible activities: Sea bath, seascape discovery, fishing, etc.

DAY 10
Ifaty – Tulear – Antananarivo 30 km + flight
Transfer to the airport of Tulear for a flight to Tana.
Welcoming at the airport of Tana and transfer to the hotel.
Free time in the afternoon.
DAY 11
Antananarivo – Departure
The last day will be dedicated to shopping at a special open market in Antananarivo. Then transfer to the airport according to the flight schedules.
